As a parent myself, I know how wonderful—but also how challenging—the school holidays can be. Keeping little ones entertained while finding moments to breathe isn’t always easy.
That’s exactly why The Buddies Tribe exists.
Whether it’s chatting with another parent, sharing experiences, watching children make new friends, or simply knowing you’re not alone, community really does matter.
This August, we’d love you to join us as we connect, explore, play and slow down together.

Mini Me Time Bury & Rossendale Collaboration
12:00pm–2:00pm
I’ll be offering relaxing Cozy Corner pamper treatments while parents enjoy connection, conversation and some well-deserved time for themselves.
🌳 Wednesday 12th August
Buddies Bimble – Walk, Talk & Have a Brew
10:00am–11:00am
Clarence Park (Meet at the Bandstand)
A gentle pram walk and toddler toddle for families with children aged 0–5 years (older siblings welcome).
Grab a drink from the Green Café or bring your own flask and snacks as we enjoy nature together.

Baby Buddies & You Drop-In

Spring-Side Primary Community Room
Suitable for babies aged 0–14 months.
A welcoming space where parents, carers and babies can relax, build friendships, chat and feel supported through those precious early months.
These sessions continue throughout September.

Buddies Bimble – Walk, Talk & Have a Brew
Burrs Country Park
Meet for a relaxed walk before grabbing a drink from the Lamppost Café (or bring your own).
Perfect for children aged 0–5 years and their grown-ups.
🍃 Thursday 20th August
Nature Buddies – Teddy Bear Tea Party
Community Garden
9:30am–11:30am
Bring your favourite teddy along for a morning filled with nature play, sensory activities, stories, imagination and outdoor fun.
Nature Buddies sessions help little ones and their grown-ups connect through gentle outdoor exploration, sensory experiences and community.
Suitable for children aged 0–5 years.

All sessions must be booked in advance.
Pay As You Go
£4 per child, per session
The Buddies Pass
Unlimited weekly Buddies sessions for just £20 per family, per month (up to two children).
Older siblings are always welcome at no extra cost, making our sessions affordable and family-friendly.
As a Community Interest Company (CIC), we’re proud to be a social enterprise. Many of our sessions are subsidised through funding, helping local families access connection, wellbeing and nature-based play at an affordable cost.
