How to Calm yourself down

Five tips to help you calm down this weekend

  1. Listen to some uplifting music, find a band that you have never heard of before. You may find a tune which helps you to feel uplifted and may well calm you down at the same time:

2. Try a new route on one of your wellbeing walks. Enjoy the sounds, sights and aromas as you walk along your planned route. 3. Enjoy a different type of tea, coffee or hot chocolate. The idea of creating a warm and cozy feel inside all of us will help you feel nurtured and calm. I have really been enjoyed Chai I had no idea there were so many options like ginger chai or pumpkin chai. Pumpkin Spice And All Things Nice 4. Why not learn a new sky for example a new relaxation technique. I find a self-help head or hand massage. Helps me to feel more relaxed and back in control again. It’s important to take a small amount of time out of your day to calm our systems down and re-balance. 5. Take 5 minutes out of your day to breathe, whether this be as a family or individual. Why not try creating your own imaginary breathing recipe. For example ;-)pop in some kindness, stir the cup *add in a lump of courage or bravery, stir ;-)sprinkle some care *breathe in the aromas and breathe out the busyness.
